This Morning presenter Eamonn Holmes has been named patron of Friends of the Cancer Centre, where he will help to raise awareness of the charity's work supporting local cancer patients and their families.

Holmes commented 'Friends of the Cancer Centre is an amazing charity which supports thousands of people affected by cancer across Northern Ireland. We all know someone who is, or has been, touched by cancer and it’s a great comfort to know that Friends of the Cancer Centre is there when people need it most'.
